website design for a multi-disciplinary program
Global Asia Program
Creating an online hub for NYU’s Global Asia Program, bringing together scholars, educators, artists, students, and activists in a collaborative digital space.
Creating a dynamic WordPress site for NYU’s Global Asia Program, connecting research, events, and courses through interactive tools and open access resources.
Sponsored by the Henry Luce Foundation and New York University, the Global Asia Program explores the many forms of mobility that have shaped Asian spaces from ancient times to the present. From research across the Indian Ocean and Eurasia to global cultural connections after 1500, the program fosters collaboration between scholars, educators, artists, students, and activists.
We built a new WordPress website to serve as a central hub for the program’s research, events, and teaching resources. Visitors can explore a searchable archive of past events by year, category, tag, or name, browse syllabi and course outlines from NYU classes offered under the Global Asia Program, and interact with timelines and maps embedded in select course pages. The design is clean, intuitive, and scalable, ensuring the site can adapt as the program grows and new projects emerge.

A Digital Platform for Collaboration and Discovery
Interactive elements like event timelines and geographic maps give visitors new ways to explore program content, while the searchable archive makes it easy to find past events and resources. Built on WordPress, the site is straightforward for the program’s team to update, ensuring that it stays current as new research, collaborations, and courses are developed.
